ATM Update

• According to the PIT (Program Implementation Team), the use of ATM-based disbursement has both advantages and disadvantages in the process of providing allowances to sponsored students.

- One of the PIT said, she is ok with the old cash disbursement so that they can meet the sponsored student and give guidance about their responsibilities together with their parents.

- Having a hard time to meet the scholars for the signature of FTDRL since the scholars have already an ATM.

- Less work to the PIT because the cash was already sent to their bank account but once they received their allowance it’s hard to set a group meeting to sign and give them advice.

- Since the ATM was implemented there are more paper works needed to be filed up separately.

- There are losing control to the sponsored student, a reason why we find hard to let them submit their ESP REQUIREMENTS.

- The PIT find hard to know if the allowance of the sponsored student was already sent to their bank account.

It became easy to the PIT because they don’t need to withdraw the funds and release this to the sponsored student

As a proactive approach, we will strive to tap 5% of the 10% allocated for Livelihood in AGW 2024 funds, once the CDP reserve funds have been reduced to PHP100,000 by deducting the amount from the remaining Livelihood fund in each CFC MM/PM area.

At this time, the estimated amount to be generated from the automatic deduction to bolster the CDRP fund is PHP 500,000.

To be fair to other areas, we will now limit assistance to some MM/PM areas that have primarily benefited from the CDRP Assistance - MM North B, Batangas.

• While intended as EFR, the products will also be marketed as "pasalubong and snack foods". A civic organization with nationwide coverage is willing to buy the bakery's produce.
