This cult believed that a young man that goes by the name of David Koresh, born on August 17, 1959 in Houston, Texas; Was the Lamb of God. David Koresh and his followers built a house made entirely out of wood, at a location known as Mount Caramel, in Waco.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Following the siege of Waco, which lasted from Feb 28th - April 19th, this event resulted in 76 out of the 85 Branch Davidians died.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Concept #3: Foot in the door phenomenon </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Foot in the door means you start demanding smaller things and then work your way up to increase your chances of being able to request something bigger.<br>The FBI and the ATF warned the cult and tried negotiating with them by asking the cult to release children every time the radio news station played Koresh's message.<br>Eventually they asked them to surrender and they didn't so they all died.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Groupthink is where a group of people think as a collective entity so that creativity and individuality is not being thought about. An example of this at Mount Caramel is when the ATF and the FBI is trying to get the people to come outside the building. People in the different organizations do not think of the people as people so they take extreme measures to get them out. Where no individual comes up with ideas by themselves.</div>]]></description>
