So, I want to take this opportunity to say “thanks a bunch to you all!”. 

I feel very happy because here I met people from different countries. Even when we have different cultures, we all have something in common: we are teachers that really go the extra mile when talking about teaching English. I noticed that everybody feels connected with this profession, and it makes me feel proud to be an English teacher in my country. 

I had the opportunity to share with my facilitators Jacque and Aaron, so I feel grateful because they showed how professional they are but also they motivated me to be connected in each synchronous session and what's more, they showed us their human side each time they asked us how we were feeling or how our day was; to me it meant a lot. 

In addition, I really loved the asynchronous debate and each culture discussion board. Those spaces gave me the chance to realize that we are different but rich in so many ways that I feel small but not less meaningful hehehe!!! (I have more things to learn and improve.) By the way, I am just waiting for the opportunity to do an asynchronous debate with my students as well. 

To the rest of the participants, the ones that always read my responses, thank you, guys, especially Olivia, Elías, Tatsiana, Khonesak, Valerie and Ali Meighan (who was not my direct facilitator but commented on many of my posts). I came to this virtual exchange with an empty backpack and now, I feel it heavier. I hope to put into practice everything I learned during this program.

Even though I wasn’t able to get to know many of you as much as I would have liked, I really enjoyed reading your posts and comments each week. I find it immensely inspiring that you all took on this opportunity to grow as educators and were so active in completing all of the discussions and activities throughout these 10 weeks while being incredibly busy teachers during a very challenging and stressful year for teachers – I’m truly beyond impressed and inspired by you all!
 
Finally, thanks to Ligaya, Shey, Aaron, and Jacque – you all were so easy and fun to work with!
