We presented all the ACP's and VAA's in the simple yet fun way and linked everyday tasks in life to the core values of HPL as we knew from our META-THINKING leaning that it would be good strategical planning to connect the new learning to something our peers already knew. 

Skills like analysis, creativity, thinking and design were put to the test. Students had to fluently think to generate ideas and be original as they conceived new things entirely!

We the HPL members got a chance to teach math to our little GEMS from KG1 - Gr 5. Their ability to realize was amazing. They worked at speed and with accuracy - calculating complex problems in a second or two was mind blowing!

The VAAs of empathy, agility and hardworking was displayed by all students for a common cause. We had to listen to the views of others, be willing and able to work in teams, demonstrate citizenship, deal with new challenges, experiment with novel ideas, work diligently and work systematically, remain confident, focused, flexible and optimistic.

I think Radha mam was Risk Taking as she was able to tolerate the uncertainty of giving some of the learning over to us. 

The event was a grand success. We had to collaboarate by presenting our own views and ideas clearly and concisely and played a variety of roles. We were concerned for society  to recognize differences as well as similarities between people and peoples, be aware of our own and others’ cultural heritage and sensitive to the ethical and moral issues raised by each countries delegates.  

We are empowering, caring and committed to inclusivity. Inclusivity means we accept and respect everyone from our diverse school population. Inclusive systems value the unique contributions of all students and allow all to grow, to the benefit of all.

WWW- Such a positive atmosphere in the class; real love of learning of the subject is clear. Lovely to see students taking responsibility for encouraging others to listen and be ready for the performance. High standards were evident throughout. Effective use of non-verbal to maintain discipline. Lovely to see peer assessment using WWW and EBI. Impressive reference to HPL values with students actively offering them 

EBI- Ensure that all are clear on the HPL values as some had doubts but not all were listening to the explanation as it was the close of the lesson. 

What we know is that all feedback at GMAK should be underpinned by HPL Language

It's a time when our little Gems are encouraged to exercise Learner Agency through voice, choice and ownership of their understanding.
