• They will be composing, decomposing numbers, regrouping 2-digit numbers and rounding numbers to the nearest 10.

2. ESL

This week

• Students completed their end of semester tests. Students began Unit 5 - Let's measure.

Next week

• Students will complete their end of semester speaking test (see practice material on LMS)

• Students will continue with Unit 5 - Let's measure. Lessons 5.2 & 5.3.

3. SCIENCE

This week

• This week, students completed their End of Semester 1 Test.

Next week

• Next week, students will learn about Unit 3.2: properties of materials.

• They will record observation in a table and graph.

• VOCABULARY TO LEARN: soft- hard, flexible- rigid, opaque- transparent, waterproof- absorbent, strong- weak (write, identify and flashcard method)

4. GP

This week

• Students did not have GP this week. We used it to review ESL.

Next week

• Students will continue Challenge 3 - Helping Animals.

• Students will discuss what we can do to help animals survive and thrive locally.
