Interaction design can be understood as it is the design of the interaction between users and products. Most often when people talk about interaction design, those products is tend to be a software product, but some of them are also in hardware product like ATM machine. The goals of interaction design is develop a products that can be easily use by everyone, other than that it will also provide an enjoyable experience.

Based on my understanding, Interaction Design(ID) is a tool that make people communicate and interact in the daily life. The main goal of ID is to make peoples’ life easier. ID have many things to consider with such as interdependent factors, cultural differences and even user groups. ID is the fundamental to all disciplines concerned with research and computer-based system design for people. 

Interaction design (IxD) is the design of interactive products and services in which a designer’s focus goes beyond the item in development to include the way users will interact with it. It is concerned with how to create quality user experiences. IxD is fundamental to all disciplines, fields, and approaches concerned with researching and designing computer-based systems for people. Initially, IxD focus on web and graphic design, but has grown into a realm of its own. Far from merely working with text and pictures, interaction designers are now responsible for creating every element on the screen that a user might swipe, click, tap, or type. The processes involved in interaction design included establishing requirements, developing alternatives, prototyping and evaluation. A good IxD has to be effective, efficient and safe to use.  Also, it need to have good utility, easy to learn and remember how to use. It is multidisciplinary, involving many inputs from wide-reaching disciplines and fields. 

Interaction design is about designing the interactions between a user and a system to maximise the ease of use for the user to achieve their objective. Interaction design should also ensure accessibility for users who have disabilities. 

What is Interaction Design?
Interaction design is a product invented as the aid to human communication and interaction in their daily life. They are specifically designed in order to develop usable products that are effective, portable and enjoyable. Besides, ID involve users in the design process. 
The process of interaction design includes, (1)establishing requirements, (2)developing alternatives, (3) prototyping and (4)evaluating.
