1. Pick an umbrella with a number on it.

2. Find the matching pipe cleaner (handle).

3. String that many beads onto the pipe cleaner. For

   example, if your umbrella says "5," put 5 beads on.

4. Count the beads to check if it’s correct.

Materials:

* Colored paper in different colors (one color for each emirate)

* Crayons, pencils, or markers

* Scissors

* Glue

* Pictures of famous landmarks from each emirate (optional)

* Large sheet of paper or cardboard to make a “map”

Introducing the Emirates: Start by showing the children a map of the Emirates, and point out the seven emirates. Briefly talk about each emirate, and mention some facts or famous landmarks. Making Emirates: Give each child a colored sheet of paper and tell them that they will design their own emirate. Encourage them to use their imagination and express their creativity. Fun Landmarks: Have the children draw or cut out pictures of famous landmarks from their emirate. You can give them pictures or let them use their imagination to make their own versions. Building Emirates: Once the children have finished making the landmarks, help them glue them onto their colored paper. They can add other details such as houses, people, animals, or anything else they can think of to represent their emirate. Map of the Emirates: On a large sheet of paper, draw a simple map of the emirates. Have the children glue their individual emirates onto the map in the correct locations. Sharing Time: Once all the children have finished making their Emirates, have them share their creations with the group. Encourage them to talk about their Emirates, the landmarks they chose, and why they think their Emirates is special. The aim is to teach children the seven emirates .
