Talking about my first impression is, I would say that I'm not really surprised to see that this course are being offered by our programmed since it it one of the keys aspect in the modern science field. As far as I remembered, (Correct me if I'm wrong 🙏🏻) this studies also emphasis on the genetic engineering and manipulation where we can took and advantages of the existing chromosomes to prevent future diseases like Polio etc. by studying them. That's all so far for my first impression and thought on what are we going to learn. Looking forward for more!!! 🙌🏻👀....

My first impression of this subject is that they’re really fascinating but also quite challenging for me. During the first class, I started to see how evolution isn’t just about ancient species changing over time it’s still happening around us. It made me realize how powerful and relevant evolution is in explaining reallife problems. Even though some of the genetic terms are still new to me, I find it exciting to learn how living things including humans, change and adapt through generations. I’m definitely looking forward to understanding this topic better as the semester goes on.

My first impression of this subject is that it is truly fascinating. I am expected to learn about how new species form depending on different modes of speciation. My curiosity about animal evolution grew after learning about Darwin’s finches where they have different beak shape and size due to different food sources. How can they become different species when they actually came from the same ancestor? This makes me impressed the idea that ancient animals can evolve into different species through countless generations due to environmental and genetic factors. Same goes to the evolution of the giraffe, which evolve from short-necked ancestors to the long-necked giraffes like today. All of this is related to the concept of natural selection. And i am eager to understand it better.

It seems interesting because it connects biology, genetics, and ecology to show how species evolve and adapt over generations. I expect to learn how populations change in size, structure, and genetic makeup, and how evolutionary forces like mutation and natural selection drive those changes. I’m also eager to explore real examples of evolution in nature and understand how scientists study these processes. Overall, I hope this course strengthens my understanding of life’s complexity and continuity.

My first impression of the Evolution and Population Genetics course is that it is both intellectually challenging and highly relevant to understanding biological diversity and adaptation. The course appears to integrate theoretical concepts with real biological examples, helping explain how evolutionary processes operate at both the genetic and population levels.

My first impression of the course is that it looks challenging but interesting because it focuses on how genes and evolution work together in populations. I expect to learn how genetic variation occurs, how evolution happens over time, and how factors like natural selection influence organisms, which will help me understand biology better.

My first impression of the Evolution and Population Genetics course is that it is interesting but also a bit challenging, as it explains how living things change over time and how populations grow, adapt, and survive in different environments. I expect to learn about natural selection, genetic variation, how new species form, and how populations change in size and structure, and I hope to understand how evolution works in real life and how it affects humans, animals, and the environment.
