A leader plays an important role in a project, especially in business field. Having leadership skills can help organize and differentiate teammates to perform specialized tasks. Leadership has been developed by organizing different events during these six years. As the chairperson of Art Club, it is critical to hold various clubs’ activities for the members. The more interesting activities we create, the more appealing it is to attract fellow students to join the event. To achieve this, I must gather and listen to different committees’ ideas and treasure their valuable opinions. By no means can we succeed without communication – this is what I have learnt within the year being the head. I believe that I am suitable to the program of education. First, I have good communication skill. Teachers not only have to teaching in the class, but also have to comfort the students. A good communication skill is essential for both of them. I was welfare vice-chairperson of Student Association when I was F.5. My communication skill has been improved during the term of service as Student Association always has to work with teachers, students and other people to organize events like sports day, Christmas show and the open day of school. Also, I have been a member of debate team which requires logical thinking and persuasion skill for 3 years. On the other hand, I am a person who will prepare things well. Teachers need prepare teaching plan and materials well for their lessons. In the debate team, we always spend days on doing research, writing scripts and practicing intonation just for an error-free, 4-minute performance in the competition. Moreover, as a member of Student Association and Science Club, I always have to prepare plans and props for the events and experiments. I understand the importance of preparing which I am familiar with. I believe that above qualities can help me in studying the program of education.



I believe that I am suitable to the program of education as I am able to solve problems with different methods. Teachers need to help their students to tackle their problems with different methods which depend on their personalities. As I am studying physics and M2, I know that there are always more than one way to get a correct answer. The study in both physics and mathematics also trains me to be a person who will not easily satisfied. I am always finding a more suitable and quicker solution. On the other hand, I have good communication skills. Teachers not only have to teaching in the class, but also have to comfort the students. A good communication skill is essential for it. I have been an English Ambassador and joined debate team for 3 years. Debating requires logical thinking and strong persuasion skills. And I have been trained for them for years. During the secondary school life, I learned the problem-solving skills. Since there will be many new things to study and do in the programme, many problems will appear because you have never seen or done them before, like finding and solving the bugs of the program of the game when doing the Computer Game Development Project. This skill will be useful for me to finish the project. For example, I did my ICT SBA when I was Form 5 and I made a mini game. Since I have faced many programming problems when I studied programming in ICT lessons, I found the cause of problems and solved them quickly although there were many problems appeared. I think there will more problems I need to face when I study in the programme, this skill can help me to solve the problems quickly and be capable to doing well in my study in the programme. Therefore I think I have learned the problem-solving skills and it can help me to achieve excellence in the programme.



During the secondary school life, I learned the problem-solving skills. Since there will be a Computer Game Development Project to finish in the programme, many problems will appear when develop a game, for example finding and solving the bugs of the program of the game. This skill will be useful for me to finish the project. I did my ICT SBA when I was Form 5 and I made a mini game that include role-playing and text adventure. Although I used the programs for the development of role-playing games to simplify the process of programming, there were still many problems appeared. However, I have faced many programming problems when I studied programming in ICT lessons so I could find the cause of problems and solve them quickly. For example one of the problems was the battle in the first scene started again and again. I just spent a few time and found that the cause was the program of the battle did not stop although the player win the battle. I tried to set a switch that the program of the battle will run only when it was on, it will be off after the player win the battle and the battle will stop running and this solved the problem successfully. Furthermore, with teacher's suggestion, I have joined a competition：GREEN BUILDING COMPETITION with 2classmates. Joining the competition, every group need to desgin a green building and introduce it thought power point,pictures,handmade models，to name but a few. With my suggestion—green park,we created some new and convenient park facilities. For example, a comfort station that all the water is came from recycle rainwater . All the facilities created by us could place together liked a puzzle to form a park and it was easy to change the design of the park.Undoubtedly, this competition cause me to realize my interest in architecture and pay more attention to this area. I believe that these experience may help me with my study in the program.

My physiotherapist in charge was patient, she teached me how to use these equipments properly. Even I used it wrongly in late time, she teached me again but not punish at first. That is the reason why I have a deep impression of physiotherapist. I remembered six months after surgery took. I can walk at home without any supporting equipment. I think physiotherapy is magical, turning patients into normal within six months only. But I believe that it will not be a problem to work with the new friends. When I was form4 , I join the program of The Hong Kong Award for Young People(AYP) and there is a Expeditions Section. We formed a group of seven people and some of them are the strangers. However, we had to train together and had a final three-days-two-nights camp. It is a test and we had to hike about 30km in three days. Before the camp , we had many things to prepare(the foods , the cookset and a clear planning,e.t.c.). With no doubt , we needed to work together. Since I don't know some of them in the first place , we needed to communicate with each other , knowing more about the others. All in all , it was an unforgettable and a great experience for me to know more about the important of communication with others. I believe that I could confront the challenges with my new classmates in the future .

Thereby, seeking for an opportunity to speak in front of the public was always my pursuit. Opportunely, I was nominated as a contestant in the English Public Speaking Contest 2016 held by the HKBU by my English teacher. I was one of the top 10 contestants that were able to enter the grand final successfully. I perceive it as an exceedingly precious experience to myself. Not only because it offered me the chance to speak in front of the public, but also I was allowed to enrich my knowledge and confidence massively in English. With the exceptional extra training organized by my teacher for the preparation for the contest, I was able to have an even deeper learning in English. Not only for speaking, but the ability that I learnt to apply diverse vocabularies and various language features such as appositive, parallelism and inversion fluently even contribute a lot to my reading and writing ability. And the learning of organizing my thoughts in a PRE (point, reason, example) structure for the impromptu speech allows me to think and talk in English instantaneously to present my ideas clearly. I have found immense interest studying M2; I wanted to understand more about calculus therefore. Yet some topics like differential equations, as well as vector calculus, are not included in the NSS M2 syllabus. Knowing nothing about those topics before, I didn’t stop my exploration and started doing research and exercises on differential equation afterward. As a result, I can now solve first and second order initial value problem of differential equations and some uses of differential operators.
