Pastor Debbie - you helped us dig out of our rut after the loss of our first boy. For that we are forever grateful, baked goods during counseling sessions were an added bonus. 

Mike - thank you for being a father type figure. I love our common interests in cars, things that go boom, politics, anything manly....they don't make men like they used to.  Thank you for the many prayers you've offered up on our behalf.  

Will miss you both more than you can imagine but I know you must go where you are lead. It makes sense, a family pastor needs to go where family is...thank you for making this move be a natural part of you being a living example of a what a family pastor should prioritize in life.

I (Josh) have been so appreciative of Mike's encouragement over the years particularly with preaching. It was always such a joy to step off the stage and see Mike waiting in the wings (as a prayer minister) and receive me with a hug and word of encouragement. I really experienced the father's love through those moments so I'm so excited that you're going to have the chance to be with your children and grandchildren now and know the affect there is going to carry forward through the generations! 

Thank you for showing us what a loving, affirming, and Godly marriage looks like! We have enjoyed watching you as a team minister to us and our young adults. We are so glad that you both can truly enjoy the fruit you both have worked so hard in harvesting over the years. You were willing to listen to me and spoke truth over me and taught me how to rebuke the lies of the enemy. You prayed over me when I got baptized. There were many, many sessions you met with me as a single woman. You always listened well. You have always been gentle and kind, but you would never let me get away when I'm off the path God intended for me to walk. You have been a spiritual mother to me and a living example of how a woman should love God, her husband and how you love your children and grandchildren. When I got married, you also met with Ken and me. Together we attended Cleansing Stream where Mike also led Ken's group and also the many marital counseling sessions where you led us. Both of you guys have really helped us tremendously in our marriage of how we should honor, love and serve each other. You both have been a spiritual mother and father to Epicentre which we will truly miss. Though we are already sad that we haven't been at Epicentre for a while and we won't go back to having you there as our pastor, we are so happy you guys are able to downsize and be around your grandkids. We know it has been on your hearts for so long to be around your grandkids. God has prepared the way for the both of you. And though you both don't know it, it will be a delightful journey. Just as you have trusted Him in the past and have tasted and seen. We know that you guys will continue to do so in the same way and much more, leading your children, grandchildren and those around you to our Lord. Words cannot express how grateful I am for the gift you have to care for others. Your ability to hold other people’s sorrow and let them grieve and struggle, but also encourage and give them the tools to contend for more in their lives. I know God has used you in so many ways to say, “nope, not on my watch. I’m sending one of my best to heal this one.” 

For me (Michelle) personally, I cannot thank you enough for walking me through some of the hardest seasons of becoming a young mom. When I look back at all the ways the enemy was trying to steal the joy of that season from me, pastor Debbie you came in and ensured that I felt loved, protected, and understood. It was through your prayers and care that I know now how to uproot lies and speak truth over myself. I often use the tools you gave me to bring freedom to others, and this is a legacy I hope to continue for years to come. You will never be forgotten at Epicentre.

 For the genuine love you have shown to us. Every interaction I had with both of you felt warm and tender. Through both of you I felt  the mother and fathers loving  embrace and affection. Thank you pastor Debbie for your time and the space you created for us to share openly when we came to you. I will miss you incredibly much. I’m very grateful to God for allowing us to learn and grow under your care and leading.  You both will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I love you❤️
