What the grasshoppers gave to the enviornment would be gone as well. So, the organism that used what they gave would also be in trouble.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One possible consequence that may occur if the grasshoppers were removed from this ecosystem would be that the insect-eating birds would most likely decrease due to the lack of potential food.  Another consequence would be that there would be less primary consumers which means that less nutrients and energy is being passed to the secondary consumers, such as the shrew and insect eating birds.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>a possible consequence that would occur is since the grasshopper is a primary consumer it would affect the secondary consumer because with the primary consumer the secondary consumer population would go down. another possible consequence is that the energy wouldn't really be passed around because the grasshopper is getting the energy from the plants and if the grasshopper isn't in the food chain there would be no energy passed around.    </div>]]></description>
