The British Royal Family has always been characterized by its continuous controversy. This poster has the aim to show that even in the richest and most important families that seem to be so perfect because of their status there are serious conflicts, too. Diana's suffering during her marriage with Charles, many infidelities, accusations of racism by Meghan Markle and others related to sexual abuses about Andrew, the Duke of York, are some of the issues that haunt the British Royal Family.

The British monarchy arose from the tiny kingdoms of Anglo-Saxon England and early medieval Scotland, which merged to become England and Scotland and were administered by a single sovereign. However, events such as the republican Commonwealth of England and the Wars of the Three Kingdoms shattered the monarchy heritage. Following the Glorious Revolution, both kingdoms were amalgamated to become the Kingdom of Great Britain, with Ireland joining in 1801.

The Balfour Declaration, issued in the early 1920s, recognized the transformation of the Empire's Dominions as autonomous, self-governing entities within a Commonwealth of Nations. Following World War II, the bulk of British colonies and territories gained independence. The title of Head of the Commonwealth was assumed by George VI and his successor, Elizabeth II (the current queen). Commonwealth realms refers to the United Kingdom and fourteen other autonomous sovereign states. Despite the fact that the monarch is shared, each country is sovereign and independent of the others, and each realm's monarch has a unique and official national title.
(Wikipedia, British royal family)

The Crown represents the sovereign (in this case the Queen of England) and the Government, and is the symbol of the supreme executive power. The Crown is given to the Queen, but its functions are generally carried out by ministers who answer to Parliament. The United Kingdom is governed by Her Majesty's Government represented by the Queen. However, the Queen's participation in many important government events is required. It is true that Queen Elizabeth II has quite a few powers, for example; signs the laws, can appoint Lords, has the power to form a government, is the head of the Church, in addition to the United Kingdom and Australia, the queen is also the Head of State in Canada, the Bahamas, Grenada, Belize, Barbados... and many others. She also has a personal poet, all swans in the waters of the Thames belong to her, as well as all sturgeons, whales and dolphins in the waters around the UK, according to a law. She can also give money to old people, she is immune from prosecution…and much more.

Since Anne Hyde and the future King James II's marriage in 1660, the marriage of Charles and Diana was the first for years that was because of love.

This wedding brought lot of journalists's attention. There were more than 600,000 people in streets trying to see Lady Di's dress, which was made by Elizabeth and David Emanuel, while 3,500 guests were inside the church.

Although this is a very interesting fun fact, Diana and Charles' marriage was not really so much fun. Diana was carrying such a big suffering due to her bulimia. Charles' opinions about her body and the fact that he was having an extramarital affair with Camila Shand made everything worse for her. They got divorced in 1996 and she died a year later in a car crash. From that moment, she became a total legend and her death always turned out to be a mystery.

Nowadays, Charles is married to Camila since 2005, but she does not hold the title of princess of Wales.
