Starting in October I would take at least 15 minutes out of my day no matter how busy I was. First I used an app called Yousician ive used this app before and I really like. One cool thing that I really like about the app is that it can listen to your instrument when you play so it can tell you certain chords you got wrong or right. One problem is that the app only lets you use it for 15 minutes unless you have a subscription which I dont have. What Ive done after that I search youtube for guitar lessons and surprisingly there is a good variety to choose one. Ive already learned three different chords which is cool to me.

2-22
Today I used the app yousician, this app is really neat because it listens from your phone to the instruments you are learning to play. This app only allows 10-15 minutes of free lessons, unless you want to subscribe and pay monthly. In my case that is not something that I wanted to do. Today I used the app as a refresher to playing guitar since I have not used it in a while. The app has an instructor that shows you how to hold the guitar and what strings should be closest to you which I already rremembered. This first lesson it also showed me the different frets and what they are used for, I forgot about that. The guided lesson was fairly easy but what was hard was using the different number of frets and the guitar strings at the same time. After the lesson I went onto Pinterest to save some diagrams of different chords onto my boards so that i could go over them when im not by my guitar.

2-29
Since i changed my project a little, today I went through my playlist to listen to songs that i thought would sound good on guitar, after i went onto youtube to watch guitar covers to get somewhat of an idea of what i wanted to learn. It had to be something that i'm already familiar with and enjoyed listening to. I then remembered that there is a song that has pretty instrumental and melody. The tittle of that song is Epiphany by a member of a korean boy group called BTS, his name is Kim Seokjin. The song is extremely meaningful to me so i'm excited to learn it on my guitar. Since the song is in mostly korean I need to translate it english first. Luckley, since BTS is an international group it was easy for me to find an english karaoke version of it on youtube. After, I wrote the english lyrics into my song book to use for reference later. I have picked my song but now I just need to work on playing guitar and practice.

I took a screenshot of one of my practices to show you. there's a white ball that bounces to each note and it shows you what string and fret to play. it will turn green for if you played it correct or red for if you played it wrong.

3-5
On youtube I found an simple to follow tutorial for the song I have picked to learn. Lately, I have been using yousician to warm up to help my fingers moving, Then I will go to the tutorial and learn at my own pace. Pausing and going over the notes I keep getting wrong. So far I have the intro done pretty well. It's not perfect but that is okay with me. The most frustrating thing is when I keep messing up so I have to put my guitar down and take a short break to calm down. Also, close to the end of the introduction I have to play the E and B strings seven times which is difficult because they are both the thinnest strings on a guitar and I keep missing them. Also it's hard for me to go back and forth on the strings currently so of course I keep messing up, But that's is okay because I am not perfect. For now i'm going to learn the song in portions. First, I will continue to practice the intro of the song until I have it down good enough. Then I will start to learn verse one and two. Next, I will learn the bridge of the song. Finally, I will learn the ending and I will put the whole song together.
