I didn't really care what college I got into which made me not want to try as hard as I should have. I knew taking these classes was a risk and I especially realized that once I had a D in both of them in the middle of the semester. This was a big decision because it is very expensive but it worked however, because I ended with an A in physics, but still a D in Calculus first semester. I was unable to get my Calculus grade above a D which really frustrated me. It taught me to accept failure and understand that this defeat isn't a defining part of my life.
