In the poem "Pictures of Childhood" there' evidence of savagery and mob mentality. In the poem news spreads about a man getting beaten and everyone runs to see it. When getting there they witness how horrific the man is getting beaten. Even in this case no one helps, nor calls for help. It says "how many there were, making a din, beating him up. It may have been a hundred, it may have been more." The man was essentially getting beaten by more than 100 people yet no one helped him. Everyone followed the crowd and watched him getting beaten.

In the poem, "Pictures of Childhood" by Yevengy Yevtushenko, there is evidence of mob mentality and how it's savage. For example, in stanza 2 it states, "how he stood up near the green vegetable stall with his head pulled into his shoulders from the hail
of jabs, kicks, spitting, slaps in the face," this is an example of mob mentality and savagery because there are multiple people kicking and spitting on one person, acting violent and stirring up chaos.

In the poem "Pictures of Childhood" there is evidence of savagery and mob mentality. Stanza 2 lines 5-6 of the poem is evident because it states, "his head pulled into his shoulders from the hail
of jabs, kicks, spitting, slaps in the face." These lines express how the person is getting beat up unfairly while people watch for entertainment. This shows how the people don't care about him and didn't lift a finger in trying to help him. The group just watched as he got hurt.

In the poem "Pictures of Childhood" by Yevgeny Yevtushenko, the savagery of mob mentality is evident. This is shown in stanza 7, line 1-3, it states "I can’t remember-how many there were, making a din,
beating him up.; It may have been a hundred, it may have been more". This shows savagery in mob mentality because it specifically states how there are so many people, (hundred or more) being savage and beating up the person.

These people were acting completely savagely as it is not right to be beating someone up.

In the poem “Pictures of Childhood” by Yevengy Yevtushenko, both Mob mentality and being Savage are equally present in the poem as a mob is beating a man and no one decides to stop them, more and more people join in and his blood stain the snow until it turns brown and like mud, the crowd acts as savages and are hidden in a mob and stand as one, they brutally best him up and encourage even children to join in, letting their anger consume them.

The poem "Pictures of Childhood" there is clear and present mob mentality and savagery. In stanza 7 the speaker goes and says he cant count the amount of people that were beating the kid up, and goes into to exageration by saying "It may have been a hundred, it may have been more". Meaning that there was a big group of people hurting one person. This demonstrates mob mentality and savagery because a group of people are doing something negative, and beating somebody up which is savage.

In stanza 7 line 1-2, it states that "I can’t remember-how many there were, making a din,
beating him up. It may have been a hundred, it may have been more." This shows that a man was getting brutally beaten up my a mob of people, and no one was interfering nor getting in to help the man out. Instead people watched the man get beaten up, and found it as a source of entertainment. There might have been more than 100 people being up one single person which, is crazy he has no chance in defending himself because there's way too many people beating him up at the same time.

In the poem "Pictures of Childhood" by Yevgeny Yevtushenko, there are pieces of evidence that ties up with both the idea of mob mentality and savagery. For example, the poem presents us with someone being beat up by a large group of people while the people are them watch. This showcases how the man who is being beat up is being treated with cruelty while the people around them just watch it happen because it is not happening to them.
