The Roman Empire had environmental health problems. In wikipedia it states that the Antonine Plague was one of the first pandemics that impacted the Roman Empire from 165 to 188 AD. According to wikipedia, the plague was possibly spread from soldiers who were returning from the Near East. During the time of the plague, about 5-10 million died. According to pubmed, all the deaths affected Roman traditions by leaving a mark on artistic expression and a renewal of spirituality and religion. Because of this, monotheistic religions started to spread such as: Christianity and Mithraism. Websites: wikipedia, pubmed.

A country that Struggles with Environmental Health Problems would be Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a country located in the South east of Asia. This country struggles with their Environmental because it is vulnerable to natural disasters for example earthquakes, storm surges, landslides and floods that impact the sea level PLUS cyclones. Since the impact of global temperature they have, it can displace millions of people that live in Bangladesh. Thankfully half of these problems are able to be controlled partially by the works of USAID, they contribute to advance U.S Vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific. They've been helping the Bangladesh with health, well-functioning, ecosystems promote long-term sustainability, support poverty alleviation, food and water security, human health, and disaster risk reduction. Bangladesh not only struggles with their environment but also with their health. Just like Natural Disasters are vulnerable to Bangladesh so are infectious AND communicable diseases. Although these diseases have dramatically lowered to less possibles chances to get them, Bangladesh still suffers with health problems. Bangladesh is know to have one of the worst childhood malnutrition because of the communicable diseases that causes both deaths and disability's. The country also has unsafe food, that effects citizens of food contaminated by microbial pathogens, chemical substances and toxins. The deaths of young children in Bangladesh is mostly because of infections. Now that population of Bangladesh is urbanized there is less chance for the people who stay in the country to have get, non-communicable diseases, chronic diseases, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and chronic respiratory diseases. In the end, Bangladesh is still ranked at the tippy top of the ten countries in the world that have the highest TB burden.
