      <description>Father Jay Fostner began his time at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, as a counselor and assistant professor of psychology and theology. Father Jay Fostner then became director of the counseling center, and eventually vice president of mission and heritage. 

He was later promoted to his current position as vice president of mission and student affairs. At present, he presides over more than 75 staff members, with an annual budget of $9 million. As a faculty member, he has promoted various initiatives, including clarification of withdrawal, service learning, and mission-related tenure and promotion, as well as fostering beneficial cooperation between the faculty and the office of student affairs.

Fr. Fostner earned his bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in psychology from St. Norbert College and his master of divinity in theology at Catholic Theology Union in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Berkeley, California.</description>
