She is fascinated by oceans and is a complete beach baby. Recently while making a model on coral reefs, Aadya sought help so that she could present almost every aspect of the reef as realistically as she had seen and read. Her creative use of household items (loofah, pipe cleaners, cardboard box) alongwith coral bits and shells she has collected over several vacations indeed brought her reef model alive. Tannzil is very excited about this unit of enquiry as she loves water and beaches .she explained very well about coral and seaweed and found a book at home and took it to class to share with her friends on Oceans She has lot of questions about ocean and underwater world . During last week homework she came up with many questions and did her research nicely . This was a coincidental fallout of her research from last week’s home task. Aadya happened to choose the Beluga and Sunfish because she absolutely loves them. But as she read more and watched videos and talked about the animals she realized they are significantly different despite their few similarities. This led her to generalize that mammals are warm blooded, covered in skin, give birth to youn ones and breathe air through lungs while fish are covered in scales, are cold blooded, lay eggs and breathe through gills. For the last week home work project she was very excited and took interview of many people around us and research on internet about what will happen when earth will be 30 percent of ocean  and 70 percent of land  . She got to know about cape town south africa through one of the interview and then she research more about the water crises Cape Town is going through.
She also told us about three zones of ocean and she further reaserch about animals lives in that three zones

Tannzil has learnt many things about oceans and marine life. We have also learnt many things about oceans with her . One day she explaned us we shlould never use crystel based colgate as the crystel goes into the water and pollute them she told us fishes will eat this crystel and eventually we ll be eating it . So its very bad to use crystel colgate .
