         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.	USA in the late 80 start 90´s<br>2.	Alaska’s nature is very isolated and away from society and is everything he has been searching for. <br>3.	Alex/Christopher<br>4.	After graduating from Emory university, Christopher gives all his money to charity and hitchhikes off to the world with one goal and that is to get to Alaska <br>5.	<br>Prelude: From the start of the movie until the flashback. <br>Presentation: From the flashback until the restaurant <br>Elaboration: From the restaurant until he donates the money <br>PONR: When he leaves home <br>Escalation of conflict: his travel to Alaska <br>Climax: the climax is, that he is stranded and can’t get home. After a while he doesn’t have enough food, and starts starving. He gets desperate and eats some berries. The berries were poisonous, and then he realizes that he is going to die in the wild <br><br>Fade-out: when he is laying in the van and slowly passing away. <br><br>6-7: country music, they are very good at using the right music in the right moment.<br>8: we couldn´t find movies the same or similar. <br>9: enjoy life, like you want to <br>10: the American identity is that you are on your own and you don’t have to depended of society and the main character truly lives up to this. <br>11: a person who raises in opposition or armed resistance against an established government or leader. <br>12: He thinks that society is greedy, he just wants to be on his own and explore the world.  <br>13: "Happiness is only real when shared" <br>14: It is up to the individual which goals he sets in life. <br>15:  Everyone gets affected by their surroundings. By doing things that interest you and that you believe in, you start developing your own identity and personality.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Into the wild:<br><br></div><div>1.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The movie takes place in the United States and it ends in 1992, where he died.</div><div>2.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Yes, the location fits good into the theme of surviving and living the Hippie life.&nbsp;</div><div>3.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;- The main character is Christoffer/Alexander, and the movie is based on how he lived put his life in nature.&nbsp;</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; His Sister, who told the story and understood him and his choices.&nbsp;</div><div>-&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; His parents, who were one the reasons why he wanted to get away, because how his parents view on life was, his parents didn’t want the family to stand out, so they wanted Christoffer to be as normal as possible.&nbsp;<br><br>-&nbsp; The two hippies, who were a big influence on his life.<br><br>4. Christoffer decides to leave home, and left everyone behind, so he could live in the wild, and to get away from the normal society.<br><br>5.&nbsp;<br><br>6. Realxing and Chilling music.<br><br>7. The music creates a feeling of freedom.&nbsp;<br><br>8. Bear grylls&nbsp;<br><br>9. The message in the moovie is that you should live your life, and you dont have to live like everybody else.&nbsp;<br><br>Essential Questions<br>10.&nbsp;<br><br>11. It means you go against your parents for example, you stand out.&nbsp;<br><br>12. Nature has a special connection to people such as McCandles, he wants to test himself and live by his own rules in the wilderness - He wants to be independent&nbsp;<br><br>13. "Happiness is only real when shared" - You need to share your happiness with other people.<br><br>14. Sucess is when you do great at something, and do what you want.&nbsp;<br><br>15.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1. When and where does the film take place?<br>The movie takes place in The United States in the 1990’s. </div><div><br></div><div>2. Does the location serve the narrative and/or the thematic purpose?</div><div> Yes it does, because the environment is nature and free lifestyle which the story is about.</div><div><br>3. Main characters:<br>The main character is Chris, also known as Alex, who wants to live in the nature and learn from it.<br>Some of the other characters we meet is a couple, who roadtrips and lives in the wild as well.<br><br>4. The plot:<br>Christopher decides to go on a survival adventure. He meets a lot of people who inspires him a lot. Unfortunately he dies.</div><div><br>5. General analysis using the Hollywood model:<br>- Prelude: you see Christopher in Alaska.<br>- Presentation: introduction to the family and what Christopher wants to do after he graduates.<br>- Elaboration: his sister narrates the story as he starts his journey into the wild<br>- Point of no return: when he burns his money and leaves his car.<br>- Escalation of conflict: he meets a lot of people and goes to different camps and places.<br>- Climax: he eats the wrong plant, which is poisonous.<br>- Fade-out: he dies.</div><div><br>6. Some people will definitely associate freedom with nature.<br><br>11. To be a rebel:<br>Be independent, not following the rules or the crowd.</div><div><br>12. Self and society:<br>Society has some rules you have to follow to be accepted, but you can make you own rules by yourself. The values and norms you have for yourself might not be the exact same as the norms and values there are in society.</div><div><br>13. Community and happiness:<br>If you don’t have anyone to share your thoughts and emotions with, chances are you might get lonely and things might seem irrelevant. <br><br>14. Success:<br>When you have a goal and achieve it. Success is a personal thing and differs from person to person.</div><div><br>15. Constructing your identity:<br>Actions, interests, values, beliefs. <br>Everyone gets affected by their surroundings. Christopher McCandless;<br>	• He doesn't like materialistic things.&nbsp;<br>	• He thinks having a career is a 20th century thing&nbsp;<br><br>4. The story is about a boy called Christopher. He runs away from home into the wild. In the wild he experience a lot of things and meets a lot of different people. In the end he dies in a bus because he ate poisonous plants.&nbsp;<br><br>5.
