I browsed the results, and looked into wool socks that were being sold on Amazon. Typically, I use an AdBlocker to improve my experience on the web, but for this assignment, I turned it off. Yet, to my surprise, I didn't get served a single ad pertaining to wool socks for the whole week. My first guess is that maybe Firefox, the browser I use, could potentially have tracking blocked to some degree. So, later in the week, I googled wool socks again, this time using Google Chrome. But, again, nothing.


I have a few theories to why this could be. Perhaps it's because wool socks are out-of-season right now. Or, maybe I didn't feed the beast enough, and I should've added the socks to my cart, as if I'm really considering them. Or, maybe I just simply got unlucky. I've seen things like this happen before, so I was surprised it didn't happen to me for this assignment.
