I'd be curious IF it's desired, that under workforce development (B) there is a standard that denotes FPHR functions are recognizable in job descriptions more globally.

I feel like evidence is a way to show you meet a threshold. For instance, inclusion in a job description does show that you have integrated the ability to do that capacity. It makes it sustainable. I don't think having to show it to someone is the intention, but it provides you a measure that you meet it, so you can report with confidence - and consistency.

Ability to cross reference this to an agencies annual reporting- should show some evidence of staff time to roles and functions of a threshold.

Is the assumption that we would report on these thresholds in some sort of formal way? What are the expectations? Is the group gathered here today expected to make recommendations on this?

It helps if something is operational - so it is easily implemented. I think of the threshold to have a communications plan... this doesn't need to be a massive document. Instead, a checklist process, who the designated contacts are, what sources will you use to outreach, etc.

Self Reporting/selective audit

Time and expertise to review a CHB's evidence that it meets the standards will be an issue for MDH, so maybe it's a self-evaluation and reporting process (annual reporting?) and then a random sample of standards to review by MDH so the review is not so consuming. Maybe over estimating what it will take to review.......

to reach a threshold we need a defined goal that all can understand and identify. As such the team members must know and understand. the leadership must be able to have some sort of tracking system and then let the staff know how the attainment of the threshold is moving.

Can people report in every x number of years and share progress on x number of areas (3 or 5 areas) then answer a series of close=ended questions and have open ended questions to share meaningful details.
