This structure is a library in Tokyo, Japan. What makes this library unique is the fact that it survived the horrendous 2011 tsunami that practically wiped out every other structure across Japan. This proves that Ito's work is qualitative and can withstand harsh conditions due to the proper making of the building itself.

Within the tower there are computers that can sense sound and wind and translate this into light that illuminates the city at night. This is an example of a structure that benefits society every single day of its existence.

Especially since those in charge of the project were concerned that Ito would destroy the history of the location with his modern style. Instead, the result was a beautiful compromise that satisfies anyone who visits the esteemed museum.
