They will add their research to a class padlet for the whole class to read and learn about. <br>2. Students will fill out a Book-Head-Heart response to <em>Wildfire. </em>They<em> will share what was in the book, what was in their heads, and what was in their hearts. </em><br>3. Student will fill out a compare and contrast chart for <em>Wildfire</em> and <em>My Wounded Island.</em> After students have completed their charts, they will have a book club discussion. They will not only discuss climate change, but how it can affect the people in a specific environment. They can use the other texts to contribute more facts and information into their discussions.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

They will create informational posters, digital posters, videos, whatever they choose to get their message across. The goal is to inform the rest of the school about climate change and ways they can help.&nbsp;<br>2. Students will conduct research and write persuasive letters to a person, place, business, organization of their choosing to persuade them to help fight the effects of climate change. They can write the letter to the government, large companies responsible for waste and carbon emissions, etc.&nbsp;<br>3. As a class, we will brainstorm ways that we can help the environment in our own classroom. We will create a list of things that we can do daily to help the environment and actually do them. We will then create a video explaining how our class plans to make a difference in the world and combat climate change. We will share this video on Youtube for others to see. </div>]]></description>
