         <title>Pizza Fractions</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This activity is meant for Pi Day, but would be a great activity to use for teaching fractions as well. For this activity, you would need to buy a pizza  kit (enough pizza for the whole class), and a pizza cutter. The teacher would be in charge of placing all of the toppings onto the pizza, but while doing so could as students questions like "if I wanted to place pepperonis on half of this pizza, how would I do that?", and they could guide you. After the pizza is cooked, you could practice cutting the pizza into halves and fourths, and then students would be able to eat the pizza.<br>Fink, K. (2020, February 14).
