witnessed by millions through video images as it happened or only moments afterward. It was a moment when so much human life was blasted so swiftly from the face of the earth that the air over all of New York City must have been filled with the essence of departing souls.

It was the moment patriotism was rediscovered. It was the moment the citizens of the United Stated turned our faces once more toward God and remembered that we are “one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

He was always away in Iraq, Marshal Islands, or Afghanistan, and many other places around the world. After my uncle retired from the army he worked as a prison guard. Working the night shift. During this time my aunt, his wife, was pregnant. Most of the pregnancy he was working and when he would come home in the morning my aunt would go to work so it was hard for the both of them to be involved as a family with the tenancy. But they made it work. He gave 110% to providing for his wife and to be born daughter and that is why is so admirable about him. His job was very stressful and tiring and inconvienient for the sake of the baby and spending time with his wife.but he stopped at nothing to do as much as he could to help out and be present.
