"After such a profound betrayal, people are openly wondering whether the Church of 5t Peter as an institution is finished, with members drifting away to other churches and even to atheism." (Wambu, 1)This church will see a slow decline in members and other individuals will begin to leave the nearby area as well. Sister Aloysius felt that same pressure to stand up and say something.
