The feeling that was triggered during this event was vulnerability and she also feels dead inside. This reminded her about herself because she doesn't know how to tell everyone that she was rapped and its caucusing a large amount of depression.  Also the way the frog was positioned also triggered the memory of Melinda getting rapped.
