The North Koreans are known for living under abusive rules and laws. For instance, if a person commits a crime, the convict is sent to a prison camp, and three generations of their family will be punished as well. They have no access to media that isn't controlled by their one party state government, they can't practice christianity, and you can't leave the country without government permission.

Seeing as how North Korea is controlling their country, i don't think that north korea should be allowed sovereignty. North Korea has cruel and inhumane laws, and their "supreme leader" is a dictator. North Korea having sovereignty will spread the idealogy of Juche.
North Korea brainwashes their citizens into thinking that Kim il sung is high like jesus. Seriously, Sung's birthday is basically their christmas. The government lies to their people and they believe it. That's enough for me to say that North Korea doesn't need sovereignty.
