For this project, I used color pencils on black paper to create a stylized skull. i started with a grid drawing technique to transfer the proportions accurately. i focused on value and contrast by layering the colors to build depth and form. the use of complementary colors in the eye sockets and jaw creates visual interest and emphasized the skulls structure .the drawing help me understand how light and color can be use to create dimension on dark paper .

For this ceramic project, I used the pinch pot method to form a small bowl from clay. I focused on shaping the form evenly by pinching and rotating the clay to maintain symmetry. After the pot was bisque fired, I applied glaze, using a red base and adding a blue floral relief for texture and contrast. The glaze added a glossy surface that enhances the color and highlights the raised design. This project taught me about hand-building techniques and the importance of craftsmanship in 3D art.

In this piece, I used watercolor to create a soft, dreamlike landscape featuring trees, mountains, and a sky with gradients of color. I learned how to blend and layer washes to create depth and atmosphere. The tree branches use line quality and contrast with the lighter background, while the blossoms were added using a stippling technique for texture. The composition uses foreground, middle ground, and background to create a sense of space. This project helped me improve my brush control and understand how to use color temperature to show distance.

These geometric balance designs were created using colored pencils to explore symmetry, contrast, and shape. I worked with both radial and bilateral symmetry, making sure each design had visual balance and color harmony. I used a variety of primary, secondary, and complementary colors to create contrast and unity within each piece. This project helped me develop a better understanding of shape relationships and color theory. I also practiced careful craftsmanship and clean color application.

This is my draft for a T-shirt design using handdrawn typography. I explored different font styles and emphasized the theme “Red, White, and Boom!” by using patriotic colors and expressive lettering. I started by sketching various letterforms and then added colored pencil and starburst effects to enhance energy and movement. This project introduced me to the basics of graphic design and visual communication through text. I learned how to make lettering part of the overall composition, not just words on a page.
