Be specific but simple, not all results are as obvious to you as to other people, people reading your paper will probably be withing the field but not necessarily.

Present figures, key takeaways for each figure, put the figure close to the text.
Use the neutral tones, no interpretation or personal arguments/comments.
One paragraph per argument not per figure.
Keep balance between active and passive. Use present tense.
Follow the objectives/expected results in Introduction.

1) Figures should be almost stand-alone. Clear text written on them and self-explanatory captions.

2) Discussion of the figures is needed, but kept to an objective note, without any improvement (future work) recommendations

Technical and scientific but not too complicated; it should be understandable.
Follow the methodology to organize the results, reproducibility.
Clear figure and meaningful caption.

The results section doesn't necessarily need to follow the methods section order, it is better to have an order that makes sense, instead of just chronological order.

Present the most significant results.
Be objective, and avoid cherry picking.
Visualize results in an encouraging way.
Keep it simple - results should be easy to interpret.
Statistical analyses (when relevant).
