It is important that all types of media are used relating to the magazine so social media sites, apps etc. After looking at several different institutions, I decided that Time Inc. UK would be the best one for my magazine considering my genre and my target audience. They already distribute NME and Q so they will be good at helping my media product get well known. This is good as Time Inc. UK will want all their magazines to be successful so even though I will have competition with NME and Q, they will have the knowledge and infrastructure to distribute us differently so we all reach our target audience and are successful. NME and Q magazine will be my biggest rivals as they are the same genre as my magazine and targeting a similar demographic of people. But I think I have created a unique image for my magazine and I think it will stand out as a brand on its own even up against these big rivals.
