For the mask itself, I used jersey sheet since it was soft and also stretchy. I folded the piece of fabric I had in half and inside there is a coffee filter, to make sure the mask was not as thin to the point where air can simply come in (virus or no virus), but not too thick to the point where it seems you can't even breathe. I went extra and decided to paint a glitched(-looking) triangle in the center of the mask. My first mask was a square for starters, so it didn't really cover my face good, though, I could barely tell because it wouldn't actually go on my face! I had chosen to use the elastic thread on the draft, and because the mask before had 3 layers, the thread didn't really support it and it fell to my chin. That is why this new one has only 2 layers and uses velvet yarn that can actually hold weight instead. Also, the mask before was falling apart because I had only tape and glue to hold it, while with this one, I sewed it instead, which worked way better. Finally, the only things I didn't change for the designs were the wire that went through the top of the mask to form around the nose and the cleaning cloth that acts like a filter.
