It is difficult to put in words the impact you've had on me, our department, and our young people. You dedicated your life in service of others and stood in that stance every day, through the light and the dark. You have touched many lives in ways that are seen and unseen. 

Toni Morrison said, "Something that is loved is never lost." You are loved in more ways than you could've ever imagined. A piece of your heart remains with all of us and we will honor your legacy by leading with our heart.
