3. Make sure that you clearly identify the position of the country in the CP framework.  You also need to properly explain the Patron affiliation of the country CP model, the examples you give are misleading...
4. Excellent suggestion on the CP framework expansion with the Model #5! Could you please explore if this model could be applicable to other countries? if not, would it be relevant to include it into the existing theoretical framework??? what other ways could you suggest to accommodate these inconsistencies in the cp framework generalization?

Excellent examples of how Finland attempts to make the arts accessible and inclusive, which was linked into the policy directions and cultural policy model. With your reasoning behind why Finland should be in the Facilitator model, do you believe there is more funding from the general public than the government? Especially considering how dependent they are on a more Patron and Architect based model, with their attempts to make the arts accessible to low socioeconomic citizens, which probably contributes to the issues with funding.

Your analysis of New Zealand’s position in the cultural policy model was interesting, as it really provided your own interpretation as to how they could change their approach was great. For your essay, perhaps show more of a link between the current national political context and the strategic policy directions - how does the context impact the strategy?

In the future, think about spending some more time to make sure the presentation slides are more visually appealing. Simple things, like increasing the size of text, will allow audiences to better read the content. It's also important that when speaking, you provide information that is different to what is written on the slide. If you provide a list on the slide, don't just read it out loud, but describe the information, explain what it means in more detail. Everyone in the group needs to work on improving their public speaking skills for future presentations. This is often an area people lack confidence in, but a bit of time spent rehearsing your speech will allow you to be more calm about it. Slow down what you have to say and make more eye contact with your audience instead of reading from the screen. -Preservation and Utilization of Cultural Properties.
These are their goals only, but in your paper you will need to identify specific economic and political mechanisms of achieving them: for example subsidies.
2. Try to avoid general information and supply illustrative examples. Especially when you talk about international cultural exchange and diplomacy! Also loved the note about the alternative scene in Indonesia! I was wondering whether or not regional policies have contributed to such a flourishing in cultural diversity – e.g. do cultural policies in say Yogyakarta, help to cultivate this?

If I may continue the metaphor a bit, structurally the talk was not exactly a well-organised itinerary from A to B to C; rather the sequence was a bit confusing so that sometimes I didn't know where I was. I think that perhaps for your essay, providing headings for each section (like landmarks on a map) will help the reader follow and stay on track. Gave me lots to think about.

One thing to consider when looking at the historical background of Australia's cultural policy and multicultural policy, is the role of the indigenous population of Australia (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander). Where did Indigenous Australians fit into the White Australia framework? How did policy deal with indigenous culture? Some key dates to consider might be 1962, when indigenous Australians were granted the right to vote, and 1967, the year of the referendum where a majority of Australians voted to approve two amendments to the Australian constitution, dealing with indigenous Australians. When policies dealing with Australia's multiculturalism work, they not only take into account our migrant populations, but also our indigenous people. That's part of what makes Australia's cultural history and present unique.

I was also a little bit unclear about why the Australian multicultural policy was an Architect model - is this because decisions and funding are made from within a ministry department, rather than through a Patron model arms-length council? It will be interesting to know what your suggestions are for refining the cultural policy model, based upon this research.

Interesting presentation indeed, but in your group paper you will need to follow a more conventional structure and include all details and components that you were not able to fit in the presentation due to its format. More thorough and detailed analysis of the Australian CP model will be required by looking at a WIDE range of institutions, tools and current strategies that make Australian CP model truly a mix! you missed a lot of important details and nuances!
