My name is Oliver Cromwell, and I was a military leader during the English Civil War. I was the Puritan Army General, after the Civil war I was crowned the Lord Protector where I ruled England. I changed the government of England by abolishing the monarchy and establishing the Commonwealth. I was strict on social control and I had a vision of a Puritanical society.

My name is Charles II and I had a pretty tough time during the Cromwell rule because I was exiled to France due to Cromwell seeing me as a threat I posed to the throne. After Oliver Cromwell died, I returned to England and restored the Monarchy, this time period was later named the Restoration. I faced my fair share of problems such as The Great London Fire of 1666 and the resurgence of the Black Plague. I sought to heal the wounds left by the Civil War and pursuing a policy of religious tolerance called the Declaration of Indulgence.

My name is James II, I am the Roman Catholic brother of Charles II. I am the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland. I faced a lot of challenges regarding religion because a majority of England was Protestant. These challenges later began the Glorious Revolution. I solidified the Consitituional Monarchy and I laid the foundation of the English Bill of Rights that would limit the powers of any monarch.
