Founded by Artistic Director, Dorian Mallia in 2008, it has ever since been producing contemporary work both locally as well as internationally. As part of its repertoire, the company has produced various original productions including: The Picture of Dorian Gray, Carmen, The Other Door - What’s Wrong, Perfume amongst others, which have been presented in various local theatres. Most of its repertoire has also been presented internationally in London, Berlin, Washington DC, Denmark, Bruno Cz ,Liberec Cz and Romania.  In 2018 Moveo was also commissioned for one of the main productions held at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Centre –Kuwait for their Black and White production. Moveo has also presented its work at numerous festival and events including: Notte Bianca, Lejliet Lapsi, Malta International Arts Festival, Science in the City,  ProArt, Ziguzajg Kids & Youths Festival, Toi Toi and Chogm.  Dorian Mallia and Diane Portelli won the prestigious award Premju Ghall- Arti as Artists of the Year 2018 and are this year nominated for the " Best Creative Enterprise Award"

In view of the current events, we have decided to start publishing our full length performances online in order to keep the arts alive. First Performance is Carmen, and it is all free to view. Performances can be found on our website. Stay tuned for more to come :).

She is also an independent arts educator and has previously created various art projects for children and teens. 
 
Her work focuses on socio-political issues in urban-collective spaces, whereby the relationship with the community and/or the place is of utmost importance. Principal themes of interest include: the city, public space, open space, territory, walking, memory, equality/equity, consumerism, capitalism, fair trade, social justice, fiction/reality, and the alternative. Borg aims to take the artistic experience beyond the confined space of the school/museum/gallery.
 
Her works have been exhibited both locally and internationally. Borg also placed first in the 3rd edition of Divergent Thinkers (2014), and is a fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar's Forum for Young Cultural Innovators.

Project Idea - Theatre and Science. We would like to discuss the possibility of having a Theatrical Science Show in which a series of experiments, concepts and phenomena are packaged in the form of a theatre performance involving volunteers from the audience and linked to Primary or Middle school syllabi.

We Need a Primary School/Middle School or a College, an artist/artistic company specialising in Theatre and if possible a Musician and Graphic Designer for a better and more artistically-inclined ambience on the Esplora Science Show stage. The performance can be opened to the students within the same school/college, to the general public and/or to other schools.

This year we are interested to introduce our students to Macrame which is a form of textiles art  that is produced by creating knots.
We would also need help to deliver "flow arts" sessions which encompasses the emerging movement-based artforms that integrate dance and creative exploration of movement with skill-based prop manipulation.

The organization aims to foster and cultivate greater opportunities for community inclusion in the performing arts as well as collectively to produce artistic work.
Żugraga Dance:
   🍭  promotes the health and well-being of the citizens and work together regardless of age, ethnic origin, ability, sex, sexual orientation, belief or political affiliation recognising the value of our many differences. 
🍭   involves and empowers people in expressing their ideas related to several dance disciplines and encourage, support and educate citizens in relation to communal themes, issues, rights and good practices by working in conjunction with other statutory and non-statutory agencies. 
      🍭   promotes dance, community recreation and creative activities as a means of social integration.
Żugraga’s Outreach extends: 
🍭 To develop classes, workshops and organise activities for vulnerable groups including the elderly, the mentally and physically disabled, at-risk children and youth, internally displaced people and returning refugees and ethnic minorities.
🍭   To create interactive educational dance performances for children of all ages to participate.
🍭   To engage with current social issues that deal with the existence, acceptance or promotion of multiple cultural traditions and develop relevant performances. 
Żugraga’s Biography
Being established only in January 2016, Żugraga is pleased to have worked projects funded by Arts Council Malta such as Creative Communities, Culture pass and Kreattiv. Additionally, our dance team has been part of Teatru Manoel’s Educational Programme TOI TOI, and other festivals such as Notte Bianca and Science in the City.

Here is a description of the experiences we have to offer as we aim to share our belief that dance is a means by which anyone can experience, explore and invest their thoughts and energy into creativity and imagination.
