These ethnic groups speak over 500 different languages, have diverse cultures, and exhibits unique art.<strong><br>History:<br>- </strong>19th century: Portuguese&nbsp; &amp; British&nbsp; fought the Zone&nbsp; around the city of Lagos.<br>- 19th century (End) : The British won the "War" against the Portuguese and gained the area around Lagos and more of the coast and behind&nbsp;<br>- Something around 1860 Lagos became a part of Great Britain<br>- British Colonies introduced:&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;British culture, British "mindset", The English language and traditions, the British have seen themselves as something better,&nbsp;<br>- own culture unfamiliar<br>- This British influence caused insecurity in people as what they should identify.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Factors why the out-of-school rate in Nigeria is high:</strong><br><br>Boko Haram is probably one of the biggest factors,but mostly just in the northern states. This explains the high rate in the north, but Nigeria as a whole is having another major factor, which effects the Education.&nbsp;<br>The money spend in Education is so low, that it's not possible to educate every child good. The money spending on Education takes only 7% of nigerias 24 Million Dollar earned Budget is put into it. So not much money is spend on school.&nbsp;<br>Also some religious believes are in the way of Education.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
