  • The Constitution was ratified and signed in 1789 by Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington , John Blair, and James Madison Jr. just to name a few.
  • The constitution is a collection of rules and law everyone who lives in the USA must follow.
  • My ancestors probably were there when the rules were made.
  • The constitution gives people human rights.
  • The Constitution gives the right to freedom of speech. This means you can say what you want without getting arrested

    • Robert the Bruce ruled Scotland from 25 March 1306 to 7 June 1329, he had to stop because of his untimely death at just 54 years old.
    • Robert the Bruce died of illness and he had leprosy, but his death showed no signs of it being from leprosy.
    • Robert The Bruce defeated England in war and got Scotland their freedom in 1314.
    • My ancestors probably saw the reign of Robert the Bruce.
    • He had to attack England several times before Scotland won and actually got their freedom.
    • His biggest victor was in 1314 at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. He defeated a large English army. This victory caused Scotland to be independent from England.

My family had originally come from Scotland, and they have effected me. I grew up with stories of my Grandfather and Great Grandmother's stories from Scotland. My Great Grandmother always said I was a descendant of Robert the Bruce and we look up to him as a hero even after they immigrated to America.

    The Constitution has effected me because it's a set of rules for every person who lives in the US, and since I am an in the US I must follow these rules. Even though the constitution was made in 1789, we still follow these rules today. They are the reason I can (almost) say whatever I want!

These rules must have effected the US and the rest of the world because when people move back and forth through different countries they must follow the rules in the US. The constitution gives people rights they otherwise would not have.

    Robert the Bruce had a big impact in freeing Scotland from under England's rule. He shaped Scotland as it's known today.
