It lives in the deep midwater of the Twilight zone, as the Twilight zone doesn't have any debris or anything that would tear its fragile body. The angler siphonophore is unique from other siphonophores as it has glowing red lures and stinging tentacles to lure and eat fish. Honestly, I don't have a specific interesting thing about this creature because literally everything about it is interesting. It's a big, transparent, delicate, worm-looking thing with stinging tentacles and lures to eat fish and lives in the middle of the abyss. What gets stranger and more fascinating than that?

Japanese spider crabs are absolutely ridiculously huge crabs that live on the sea floor around Taiwan and Japan. It has the largest leg span of any arthropod, with its leg span reaching up 12 feet from claw to claw. It's an omnivore, both scraping algae off the sea floor and cracking open mollusk shells. During mating, the female crabs can carry and release up to 1.5 MILLION eggs. Obviously a large portion of these eggs get eaten. An interesting thing about the Japanese spider crab is that it can actually camoflague itself with worm tubes and sponges. Literally the crab will just rip it off of whatever rock the sponge/worm tube was on and attach it to the crabs back, and the crab will secrete adhesives and stuff and the sponge will practically get glued to the crabs back, and it'll still be able to live and colonize on the crab's back.
