Beriman kepada...

• Malaikat: Yakin bahawa Allah menciptakan malaikat daripada cahaya dan tidak bernafsu

• Kitab-kitab Allah: Yakin bahawa Allah telah menurunkan kitab-kitab suci sebagai petunjuk bagi manusia melalui para rasul

• Qada' dan Qadar: Yakin bahwa segala sesuatu yang terjadi di alam semesta, baik atau buruk, telah ditetapkan oleh Allah sesuai dengan ilmu dan kehendak-Nya.

Rukun Islam

1. Syahadah (شَهَادَة‎)

   Pengakuan dua kalimah syahadah:

   "Aku bersaksi bahawa tiada Tuhan yang berhak disembah melainkan Allah, dan aku bersaksi bahawa Nabi Muhammad itu pesuruh Allah.”

2. Solat (صَلَاة‎)

   Mendirikan solat lima waktu sehari semalam.

   
   

3. Puasa (صَوْم‎)

   Berpuasa pada bulan Ramadan, menahan diri dari makan, minum, dan perkara-perkara yang membatalkan puasa dari terbit fajar hingga terbenam matahari.

   
   

4. Zakat (زَكَاة‎)

   Mengeluarkan zakat harta dan zakat fitrah kepada yang berhak menerimanya.

   
   

5. Haji (حَجّ‎)

   Menunaikan ibadah haji ke Baitullah di Makkah bagi yang mampu sekali seumur hidup.

• Rusul and Anbiya'

  A muslim must accept all messengers sent by Allah as it is connected to the Shahādah, the first pillar of Islam.

• Qiyamah

  Muslims will be judged based on their faith and deeds, including their fulfillment of these pillars. Belief in Qiyāmah reminds Muslims of the afterlife and the importance of righteous living.

• Qadā' and Qadr

  To recognize that all events, including the challenges faced while practicing these pillars, are part of God’s decree.

  This reflects a level of moral excellence, as Iḥsān demands that one goes beyond the minimum requirements of Islamic law (Sharīʿah) and strives to embody ethical ideals in every aspect of life

Respect for All Creations

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged kindness to animals, trees, and the environment. He said:

“If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (Ṣadaqah) for him” (Sahih Bukhari).

Islam teaches that everyone will be held accountable for their actions, including how they treated the environment. The Qur’an reminds us that:

“And the earth will throw up its burdens (from within)…on that Day, mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds” (Qur’an 99:2-6).

1. Arrives early than the teacher.

2. Never hesitate to ask questions.

3. Act upon the knowledge.

Through the regular discussions and reminders, I have developed a stronger sense of faith and trust in Allah. The focus on core principles of Islam, such as Īmān (faith), Ṣalāh (prayer), and the importance of maintaining good character, has helped me realign my intentions and actions.

Sense of Community

The 7 weeks of Usrah meetings fostered a sense of brotherhood among the Usrah members. Sharing knowledge, experiences, and challenges with others has reminded me of the beauty of the Muslim community and the importance of supporting one another in our journey towards becoming better Muslims.

Moving Forward

The Usrah has motivated me to consistently seek knowledge, engage in good deeds, and maintain a positive influence in my community.
