the Pittsburgh penguins  had an record of  47-24-11 in second place in the Atlantic division. Crosby didn't get a taste of the cup final till the year after in the 2007-08 season. In period four in game four, the winning goal was scored by number four on the Boston Bruins. When Bobby scored the goal he was flying through the air. He holds the best plus-minus by an NHL defencemen in one season.
