These materials correspond with his already published works, along with the papers donated to Cambridge University Library upon his death.          <description><![CDATA[<p>AMNH provides a number of special collections, including archives, photographs, film, art and memorabilia from Natural History, along with a rare book collection.</p><p>The below picture is of an expedition to the Tsagan Nor Valley in Mongolia, 1925, by James B. Shackelford.  Shackelford was a former director of AMNH, and both a cinematographer and naturalist in the early 20th century.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Research Library provides Catalog Inventories online, as well as the option to make an in person appointment online.</p><p>While the catalog is fairly user friendly, if a researcher still has questions they can email, call or visit a librarian to obtain assistance.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>There is a blog kept by AMNH which provides highlights from the Council on Library and Information Resources Hidden Collections project.  AMNH received a grant to provide finding aids for archival collections specific to Museum expeditions.  These will include brief histories and biographies of the participants.</p><p>This blog is updated periodically, so check back at least quarterly for new material.</p>]]></description>
