2
I know what students in my classes that are ESOL, and provide them with think/pair share partners that help them translate for me. When doing a complex reading, I provide front loaded vocabulary or cognates that I know will assist them . Since we are in a novel unit, and I want them to feel cared for and included I give them a translated copy of the novel, but am seeing them slowly going towards to English novel. I feel like I need to grow in regards to testing--I want to branch out away from vocabulary, cloze testing and drawing.
