On the first day at Hannan Medispa Kuantan, the assistant manager kak Ja was introduce me to the other staff which is there are six beautician in the spa. Besides, Kak Ja also show me around the dry area and wet area of the spa. There are receptionist area and treatment room that consist of eight facial room, doctor room and one wet area whic is toilet. 
After that, Kak Ja roughly showed me how the receptionist operating which is the flow from welcoming customers, greeting them politely, check their appointment schedule or walk in customer until the the end of the treatment session.
Then, I was exposed into the operation management which is introducing with Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) in the spa. There are many facial treatment provided at Hannan Medispa which are Cleopatra, Carbon Peel, Face Scanning and more.

In the second day, I computerizing customer detail from hardcopy into the new system as the after sale department are in the process to establish. So, many work that need to do since the total number of the customer could be in high number almost 6000 person. Third day. In the beginning of the day, I rearranged the product on the table. Day 4, every wednesday all staff members in the spa are gathering at 9 a.m in the relaxing area for a meeting. In the beginning, we reciting a prayer. Then, meeting held is for a bit discussion about all product and services that will ask from a doctor to all staff to make sure the knowledge is perform from week to week in maintaining their customer satisfaction. Furthermore, they also have a practical session on facial treatment for their staff which is from junior to the senior beautician. The purpose is to enhance their staff’s skills in other to fulfill the customer satisfaction and create positive feedback.

Plus, as usual I continue with the computerizing customer data into the new system after sale. So far, the task is went well and I enjoy for a bit knowledge about the new system.

Fifth day, as my routine in completing the new system of computerizing customer data, the task was did well. 200 customer detail was completely put in the system. As the total number of their customer is high, the journey of this task hope will end smoothly to update the management system of after sale. This because, follow up customer condition is vital to create strong bonding. Moreover, customer loyalty became a main focus of Hannan Medispa. With high quality performance, they can grab their customer satisfction easily.

Then, as I sit at front desk, I also adapt the environment to entertain customer to please them well. As the receptionist area are the main area that firstly customer get their expectation of the spa. So, everyday I  get valuable experience and challenge to learn.

  • Today is Teachers day and we will annouce the winner of the contest at noon.
  • Then, we had a promotion about the facial of Carbon Ppeel Therapy or Cleopatra Therapy RM 99 only. Normal price is RM 250 per session.
  • So, today we hard selling this promotion since it is only valid just for today and for those customer who want to grab this promotion price, they need to make online payment to lock their name in this poromotion but facial can do later.
  • Since we make blast many chats through facebook, which is a platform to send ads of our promotion to all contacts in facebook by one click.
  • From there, many chats in inbox around 30 and more. So, we need to hard selling it and we have quite high demand from that promotion.

  • Starting the day with early meeting in the morning about the marketing tools. The manager, En. Umar briefing a little about the component of making an effective posting in media social. The component are PESTA. P for problem which the headline/title of the posting wether in a negative or positve form. E for explanation for the headline, S for solution of the problem, T for testimony of the solution and last is A for action which is call an action to what people to do wether call, whatsapp or comment on the posting.
  • It is a new knowledge to me from this meeting.
  • Then, En. Umar also explain the ads which is the tools that people will connect to us easily by creating a carousel posting on our facebook page. This method will be a platform to us as marketing to close them by they are actualy coming to us. 
  • There is a component called ‘Funnel’ which is a way that we classified the customer from all people exposure to our ads about spa services to the people who have desire to the people who have interest and to make them act an action.
  • Then, all daily routine are went well executed by my partner and me.

  • Today a bit busy to me since my partner is off day.

  • A different task have given to all branch which is we need to make a live video about a facial promotion.
  • The video duration in 30 minutes and we chose a promotion about glow raya facial. So, we need to explain first about the promo, advantages, promotion period and others. Then, we offer a facial voucher off RM 50 to those who have higher share number will get the voucher.
  • Plus, at the end of the live video we make one quiz and for those who give the right answer we will give a special gift.
  • After making live video, we need to make a report sheet to follow up the customer who joined and comment at our live video. So, from that we have reference to close them.
  • It is new challenge to me in making live video since I am quite pasive person. But trying something new is the best way to develop what actually we can do beyond expectation.
