We've learned most of the things we know at the moment from our family. Most of us look up to them after all. I've learned many things from my mom and my dad alongside my grandparents. I was taught that sometimes we should be a risk-taker, sometimes a thinker but on a level that wouldn't get in the way of thinking getting in the way. My friends, on the other hand, have taught me to be open-minded by showing me that in some situations, looking at things from the point of view of others and approaching the issue is really helpful. Also, they taught me that having cultural differences doesn't matter. I've faced many inequalities and dishonesty during my skiing career. It made me realize that the way the people made me face them acted was just ridiculous and swept their dignity away. Being balanced helped me a lot in skiing and windsurfing. Different schools had different ways of delivering me the same thing.
