I think his will to keep her alive no matter the consequences will be the determining factor of all his decisions. She's starting to change again, but I haven't gotten to the end of that yet.
2. I think at first the only pressure was a delay in her surgery to be pretty, but then Tally was told that if she didn't tell Shay's secret she would never be pretty and that Shay was in danger, so she willingly told Shay's secret for (in her mind) the benefit of both of them.
3. My theory now is that Tally will regret her decision and decide to destroy the eye scanner pendant and stay with Shay and the other runaway Uglies
