Elias Howe made a huge impact to society by inventing the sewing machine in September 10, 1846. Before the sewing machine, clothes and blankets were sewn by hands which took hours. The sewing machines was beneficial, this technology made it faster and easier to make clothes and blankets.

At a young age,  Alexander was prepared to take over his family business.  Alexander, at  age  16, had to join his father at work which involved deaf people.  Bell made a huge impact on society, he managed to make communication a lot easier by inventing the telephone in 1876.

Edwin Drake is best known as "Father of the Petroleum Industry", though he did only drill  3 oil wells. Drake was the first to use a steam engine to remove oil from the earth surface.
