Find the same (or a similar) DIY Learning opportunity on 2 platforms, and compare their approaches. For example, you may decide to learn how to paint watercolours, and draw from YouTube and Pinterest. Compare the two resources using the standards and descriptors you learned about on this site (or using your own criteria)

DIY Cherry Tree Grafting: Video vs Text-based instructions

I need to graft a cherry tree to rebuild the branches that were broken off by a grizzly last season. I watched a 9 minute video which had a baby happily chattering throughout, which depending on my mood, may have been a heavy load on my patience. Regardless, having a/v was invaluable. The second resource was a more informative but less comprehensive text-based website created by a Penn State student for a class project: https://sites.psu.edu/propagationisland/grafting-cherry-trees/

Both were quite helpful catering to different types of learning strategies and I will use them in tandem to ensure complete understanding of this task before I start seeking scions.
