Shadow day was fun I admit. But it was also a challenge. Next to being so small in a huge school I got to witness what happened during a highschool  period and lunch. At first it was scary being in a class I didn't belong in. But once I got in I noticed that's it was a mixed class. Most classes are. I knew half of the class and it was nice and quiet. The teachers were kind and accepted me as a student. I even solved some answere's on a board. It's fun to be around people I knew and some I didn't. So I spend a little bit of time walking the halls alone but I guess that’s okay. I NEVER FREAKING FOUND JONNY! That upset me a little. I just wish I could of been with someone better. After this I feel like I’ll be a better student a pay attention. And if I get the opportunity to have a shadow I’ll make them stay with me.

My shadow was very nice and truthful when telling me about the school. You get to experience what is like to be a high school student. You get to make new friends before you even know that your going to school there. I was in a mostly learning field but Columbia river may be different than Bay and a different schedule. But it's not a lot different than middle school in this point of view. Hudson's Bay is very different than how River is going to be. Shadow Day at HB only made me see how hard it can be to focus in classes where people don't really care or try. It did answer some of my questions like what are the classes like compared to schools here at disco. It did get me excited for some of the classes I can take. I got to go to a construction class, with a few people in the class. We didn't learn much, but I got to pull wires together. I learned what it's like being in a non-productive class. It was scary in the hallway when the bell rang, as of I am a very small 8th grader, and high school slang that I heard confused me.
