She is a figurative artist, she says refers to her subjects as anonymous. She is Swedish and lives and works in a remote part of rural Sweden. All of her subjects are pulled from her vast collection of found imagery that consists mostly of outdated manuals and travel guides. Schiele, an Austrian, Born in 1890,  died during the Spanish Flu  epidemic at the age of 28.
